We're two Kenora families with small children and we've felt it too.
The -30° Saturdays when the kids are bouncing off the walls and there's simply nowhere to go. The new mom isolation that hits hard when you're home with an infant and the only "get out of the house" option is another drive. The moment your toddler asks to play with another kid and you realize you don't actually know how to make that happen in this town.
We started this project because we kept wishing this place existed.
A place where new moms can walk in without a plan and find their people. Where your baby can roll around in a clean, safe space while you actually finish a hot coffee. Where dads can hang back with a decent drink while the kids run wild. Where the 4-year-old and the 10-month-old can both have a great morning, and so can you.
Kenora deserves a space built for this season of life not just summers at the lake, but February, and March, and every long week in between.
